Open House Technology Presentation
Rating: Proficient
Based on the rating scale, I would rate myself as Proficient because I have demonstrated my knowledge in collaborating with the group to plan and develop a mock technology plan that includes the vision, mission and goals of the SLAMS School District. My responsibilities including providing the demographic, evaluation and designing a logo cover sheet for the SLAMS School District. My group and I have also prepared a presentation for parents, administrators, school boards, and the public. I also have written a grant writing proposal and have monitored and evaluated technology plans through the Wiki Tool in the blackboard. Also, I have prepared a technology presentation for the teachers, parents and administrators during the Open House about what their child would learn and do what in the computer lab. I also have demonstrated my knowledge in working and collaborating with the group to plan and develop a IT Doctoral Website in Adobe Dreamweaver. My responsibilities for creating the website with the group including:
- Used the Audacity to record the Welcome Message script that were provided by a member of the group and
converted into MP3.
- Created a form for "Request Info" link and add buttons to it in Adobe Dreamweaver.
- Copied and pasted all of the information that were provided by a member of the group in PowerPoint for
"Program Overview", Application Process" and "Policies & Forms" links in Adobe Dreamweaver.
- Created a Citation Page in Word Document to put all of the sources we used to create the Instructional
Technology & Leadership Doctoral Website.
- Helped by providing suggestion for the background colors of the website.
- Helped to finish the last three pages of "Course Sequence", Semester Schedule", and Course Descriptions".
